Lead engineering on Burn by Cara Loren, a subscription fitness app on iOS, Android and the web. Own the architecture, the API, payments, analytics and the release pipeline.

• Contained and repaired a backfill that overstated active subscriptions (14.9% → 6.1% on the first pass; 64 duplicate pairs → 0), with a journal that makes every production repair reversible.
• Replaced a frozen Zapier pipeline (700+ stuck tasks) with signed first-party webhooks in the Express API, removing ~40 points of conversion inflation from a stale paid flag. Added 63 tests.
• After an over-the-air update crashed the app on launch, wrote the postmortem and built a native-module CI gate and rollback tooling: production rollback under 5 minutes, and 4 people able to deploy safely, up from 1.
• Rebuilt activation analytics on billing ground truth: corrected the team’s headline metric (80% → 47%), found ~30% overstatement in trial volume, and removed an onboarding step with 67% drop-off.
• Ran the checkout site cutover from WordPress to Vercel: 17 of 17 production paths verified, 3 live checkout bugs fixed, and a real purchase, login and cancellation verified end to end.
• Unblocked end-to-end testing with a five-line accessibility fix, avoiding a planned 2–3 week migration of 29 screens.
• Added Claude AI code review to CI on every pull request, and systematized AI-powered customer service processes.

• Built and released v3.0 of the Burn iOS and Android app, including a progressive difficulty algorithm that adjusts exercise intensity to each user’s performance.
• Built an Instagram tracking automation that cut manual data collection time by 80%.

• Refactored the revenue tracking dashboard, cutting report preparation from 2 hours to 20 minutes.
• Built Airtable and Zapier workflow integrations to automate operations.

• Part of the team building a protocols app that gives firefighters fast access to procedures, drug dosages and pediatric emergency information. Built its feedback component and Firestore store.
